Welcome to my website!
I am a researcher in the field of baroque music, with a particular interest in keyboard music and its performance practice. My academic activity as a musicologist is combined with my intensive teaching activity and activity as a professional book designer and music engraver.
As a musicologist I prefer to study music itself than to talk something abstract around it in a convoluted and florid manner. I am interested more in the quality of publications than in their quantity. I believe that musicologists should write and publish only when they have something really new and important to contribute to the discourse.
As a music teacher I am more interested in teaching theoretical subjects, and I personally find the solfeggio (ear training) is the most intriguing and complex among the disciplines, because it more closely relates to psychology than intellect.
As a book designer I am still in progress.
As a music engraver I am a perfectionist who pays an extraordinary attention to a visual aesthetics and comfort of a music design.
